Following the return from a short term missionary trip to Split Croatia I created this web site so to share my personal journal entries and the wonderful pictures captured from outreaches, events and activities during our team's visit. This web site is also managed and hosted by myself on a Linux Server and is based on the WordPress engine where I had incorporated a number of unique plugins and theme. All of which to share blog entries taken from my journal entries and photo gallery of over 1200 images taken by various team members from North Country Chapel while on the missionary trip during the month of March 2008. While working with a fellow graphics artist who overhauled their web site - key content was also needed to be tied into the web site. My project responsbilities were to work with a backend MySQL database and the PHP application for the Warranty registration page, Career Resources/Employment page and contact page content and smtp work. Specifically working with their IT department and resoving connetivity issues with the databse and the application and then making the necessary code and database changes for the content to be delivered real time to the site for customers.

Wycliffe Associates Web Site CMS database and application sustaining. The Wycliffe Associates organization has supported the worldwide efforts of Bible translation by recruiting and mobilizing lay people to offer practical assistance that frees up missionary linguists from tasks that take them away from translation work. Their web site is key to providing real time volunteer information. My project responsbilities were to work within their existing server and application environment and enhance the sites dynamic capability. I was specifically tasked with the responsibility to make revisions to Wycliffe Associates backend Microsoft SQL server database and the existing ASP application which supports the dynamic content of their site. To that end the goal was to enhance the home page content by pulling real time data from the database as well as develop a search engine for the entire site contents. The search engine would essentially query the existing CMS databse for content and deliver links where the user could then drill down to specific topics of interests. Additionally I worked with a graphics artist on the site design/look-n-feel to incorporate my code changes into their database and site.

MultiCam Corporation Internet/Intranet User Management System application and database design, development, depolyment and sustaining work. While employed with ExtraTech corporation I was tasked with the development of a unified user management and authentation system based on the Apache/htaccess security model for MultiCam corporation. The goal was to develop a central authentication system based on Apached server security model for providing a way to authenticate, manage and secure MultiCam's Internet and Intranet resources. The system currently manages between 200 and 300 user (internal to Multicam corporation used on their Intranet and Extranet servers) and distributor accounts and was based on the Apache mod_auth_mysql spec for securing htaccess accounts against a MySQL database. The server side security model is based upon htaccess authentication against encrypted MySQL accounts run on Linux/servers. Additionally there is a web based interface for user profile and account management purposes. Various technologies besides PHP/MySQL/HTML/JavaScript/CSS where incorporated into the project design including the mod_auth_mysql, Ajax and Yahoo's GUI interface.

Roster Web Application Design/Development Membership Roster System.

The entire web application (PHP & MySQL) was designed and developed to accomadate any number of clubs, organizations and businesses (large or small). This system easily integrates into any existing club web site and incorporates a unified authented tool suite allowing the site to be private for members only or publicly available. It also includes user access permission levels allowing individual members to update their own personal profiles and the ability for members to quickly and easily email entire groups of people in committees, classifications and businesses associated with their organization. The system utilizes extensive cross linking of information allowing members to quickly locate member profiles, committee profiles, office profiles, business profiles, classifications profiles, etc... The development effort of this product/project targeted delivering an affordable on-line solution for Real Estate businesses from the corporate level to the private independent, including the private Home Owner - 'For Sale By Owner', Property Management businesses - large and small, Vacation Rentals - both private and corporate and Custom Home Construction - show casing their homes and the quality of their craftsmanship.

Design/Development of the entire original web site. The contents were written nearly all by hand utilizing a number of HTML and programmer editors. The site was programmed and built up from dynamic code modules written in PHP and JavaScript then run through a custom PHP content management tool set that takes the dynamic portions (headers, footers, navigation, body, etc...) and builds static pages designed to load fast and efficiently.
