I have over 25 years of broad experience in the high technology industry including research and development, manufacturing, engineering, product development and services with both private and publicly traded companies as well with local government organizations.

Currently a software developer/consultant I develop Internet/Intranet solutions in terms of server side applications, design, build and host web sites and manage/administer Web and Application servers (Apache and Windows). I'm experienced in development and deployment of wide range of web based applications ranging from e-commerce, real estate, email delivery/management systems, document control, content managed systems, user authentication and account management, class registration and management systems, photo galleries, FAQ, on-line HTML based help systems. etc...

I've worked in the Internet industry since 1995 corporately (while employed with Intel Corp. for nearly 17 years most recently a part pf Intel's Corporate Services IS programming team as a Programmer/Analyst developing Intranet client-server web enabled application development, NT and IIS Web server integration and administration), local government organizations (Spokane County developing complex Intranet GIS - (geographical information systems) Mapping Systems) and now privately as a independent consultant.

My experience in the development of data driven web applications and web sites is cross platform indepentent as I've worked extensivly in the Linux open-source (Red Hat Centos and Fedora, Novell Suse, BSD and AIX Unix) and Windows environment (Win 98, NT, 2K and XP). My development experience includes ASP (Active Server Pages), PHP, Perl, Cold Fusion, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, Smartly Templates, CSS (Cascade Style Sheets), Microsoft SQL, Access and MySQL. I've designed and built Web Site using Adobe Photo shop, Microsoft FrontPage, 1st Page 2000 and by hand.

As a developer I am also responsible for writing technical documentation for the software and database designs and disaster recovery of the projects. I believe my years in the high technology industry, local government and the corporate world developing applications using Microsoft and open-source development tools provide me with unique experience and background. In addition to holding a B.S. in Computer Science and an A.S. in Computer Science I also have an A.A. degree in electronics technology.
